Past Programs / ZINE

ZINE is an enrichment program designed as a creative outlet for underserved youth while providing them an introductory overview of basic design elements and artistic principles. Participants are guided by professional artists in a workshop setting to develop a personal body of work, as well as collaborate with the class to produce an edition of the ZINE publication. Sessions include short lecture presentations, demonstrations and studio work time with artist assistance.

ZINE was initially developed by Kelly Parker and Jordan Stark, with the assistance of Dorit Cypis, and further developed by Trade&Row.
